If your child is apart of the speech bee, you are more then welcome to come to the contest on Friday 1/30 at 9 am in the school Library. Due to the construction we can not use the stage, the contest will only be the contestants, judges, and parents of the winners .

The Speech contest begins January 20th 2015
Due when you walk into my classroom on Tuesday is your completed speech. There will be no excused speeches if you do not have your typed, size 12, New Time Roman speech in you will receive a Zero (0). You have known the dates for this project since December 19 therefor I will not accept any excuses.
Make sure you are ready to present you memorized speech. We will start presenting January 20. If you are not prepared you will find it difficult to past.
Remember
3-5 minute speech if it is under 3 minutes you lose 20 points and if it is over 5 minutes you lose 20 point. These are the rules from the speech contest. As the judge I am to grade strictly to the outlined rules.

Here are a few reminders for the week of January 12, 2015;
Here are a few reminders for the week of January 12, 2015;
- Students must hand in all homework and projects the day they are due. If they are not in they will receive a zero (0).
- It is not my responsibility to print out students work. when a project is due it must be ready to be handed in during my class.
- If I do not have a hard copy of the project it is not handed in.
- January 20 final copy of speech is due.
- Students will begin to present their speeches on January 20.
- Many students did not hand in their speech drafts today, please check the SIS to see if your child was one of those who didn't complete the work.
- If a student did not hand in the speech draft today they were sent home with a letter addressing the situation at hand please read and sign the letter, if it is not handed in you child will receive detention.

- Students were handed out the monthly calendar, make sure to ask them for it so you are aware of the dates in December.
