1.art: a fine skill
that has resulted from natural ability, practice, or study.
2. verbal: in grammar, a word or phrase, especially an
adjective or noun, that is derived from a verb.
3.multimedia: (used
with a singular verb) the combined use of several performance media at the same
time.
4.citation: the act of citing or quoting, or the passage or
source so cited.
5. pun: an instance or
a variety of word play, often for humorous effect, that is based on a
similarity in sound of two or more words or on various meanings of the same
word.
6.ellipsis: a sign (. . .) used to indicate an omission of
letters or words, or a change of thought, time, or the like; __________ points.
7. irony: a manner of using language so that it conveys a
different or opposite meaning to that which is literally expressed in the words
themselves. __________ is often used as a literary technique, especially to
produce humor or pathos.
8. Primary sources are original materials. They are from the
time period involved and have not been filtered through interpretation or
evaluation. Primary sources are original materials on which other research is
based.
9. Secondary sources are less easily defined than primary
sources. Generally, they are accounts written after the fact with the benefit
of hindsight. They are interpretations and evaluations of primary sources.
10. Tertiary sources consist of information which is a
distillation and collection of primary and secondary sources.
