All work is to be done on google classroom.
January 9: the Complete 3-5 minute speech is due. Remember it must be memorized.January 9-11 the classroom contest will take place, depending on the speeches 1-3 winners from each class. There is will a total of 12 winners from grade 5-8.
January 27 school speech contest takes place. The 12 winners will be on stage preforming their speeches. 3 Winners will be selected.
Reminder: Google Classroom has all the information and rules. Students will be posting all their work in the classroom and they will be getting responses back in the classroom.

For those students who did not complete the first part of the project, you need to had in your list of topics by 12-6-16. I can not begin your introduction without approval of topic. Also if it is not in by the 16 you will receive a week of detention. Remember this is 40% of your grade. you've already received one 0 (zero) don't let there be anymore.
For those students who did not complete the Second part of the project ( this includes you not handed it in on time), you need to hand in your introduction essay by 12/13. You have received a zero on this part of the project and 4 days of detention. It is saddening to think that the dates have been posted on my blog since November 18, and students think it is acceptable to had something in late. I have done everything in my power to remind you and have you finish the work.
I WILL NOT accept any excuse for work not being complete or not handed in ON TIME. Students were given ample time and warnings to finish this work. your work will be the last that gets edited and returned.
If the next assignment is not handed in on time and complete you will receive two zeros, and two weeks of detention, this is fair warning AND enough time to complete the work.
