Writing a mystery or detective story requires the writer to include specific elements of the genre.

1. It needs to be suspenseful.
2. It should include a crime, a crime-solver, and several suspects.
3. A good mystery includes key details--clues, alibis, character motivation.

Religion 

Lent Journals are due Monday the 28th. Students have been working on them during class.

Due Monday May 5th Students must write the vocabulary words on index cards from Chapters 1- 5 if using vocabulary notebook as reference the dates of September 10,16, 23, 30, and October 7. One side of the card must have the word being defined and on the other side define the word. These cards must be placed into a zip-lock bag for safe keeping.

Write a research essay about an event from the Mexican Civil War, highlighting the causes and effects of the conflict. Part of the essay should explain the relationship or interaction between individuals or events.

o    What is the conflict?

o    Why does this conflict occur?

o    Who is involved on each side of the conflict

o    How is the conflict resolved?

o    How does this conflict have an effect on our lives today?

Students must answer the four given questions on L.L. ( Q& A) 1. What is the Annunciation? 2. Why is Mary a perfect example of discipleship? 3. What is the Assumption? 4. Why was Mary's visit to her cousin so special?
