Weekly Assignments

All grades have to have their speeches printed out and handed in Friday 1/28.

5th grade will have a religion test on Thursday

6th grade will have a religion test on Thusday

Spelling test for all grades of Friday

Speech Contest Information

All grades must research their topics, the must be prepared to write their speeches.

8th grade: Students must write their introductions to their speeches. The introduction must be 30 seconds long. this is due Monday 1/24.
7th grade must had in their research on Monday 1/24.
6th and 8th Grade are expected to hand in their research on Tuesday 1/25
5th grade will begin writing their introduction/Body on monday 1/24.

Speech Contest
Students 5-8th grades have started on the speech contest. Their topics have been handed in and accepted. It is now their job to research their invention, all of their research is due this Friday, the 21st.  This is to make sure that the students are able to work on their speeches in class.

Diversity: The state or fact of being diverse; difference; unlikeness.
Idiom: (noun): An expression whose meaning is not predictable from the usual meanings of its constituent elements, as kick the bucket  or hang one's head 
Paraphrase(noun): A restatement of a text or passage giving the meaning in another form, as for clearness; rewording.
