Weekly Vocuabulary
1. Gerund: is a " verb= ing" used as a noun in a given sentence.
2. Simple sentence: Expresses only one complete thought.
3. Compound sentence: is made up of two or more simple sentences. the simple sentences are usually are joined by a conjunction and a comma, or by a semicolon.
4. Complex sentence: Has a independent clause and one or more subordinate.
5. Independent Clause: contains a subject and a predicate, but does not express a complete thought, and it cannot stand alone.
