competent: Having suitable or sufficient skill, knowledge, experience, etc., for some purpose; properly qualified: 
 He is perfectly competent to manage the bank branch.

compute: To determine by calculation; reckon; calculate: to compute the period of Jupiter's revolution.

efficiency: The state or quality of being efficient; competency in performance.

exceed: To go beyond in quantity, degree, rate, etc.: to exceed the speed limit.

fundamental: Serving as, or being an essential part of, a foundation or basis; basic; underlying: fundamental principles; the fundamental structure.
